Drinking Water Quality: Temporary Deviations from Hygienic Standards
نویسندگان
چکیده
Introduction: Current legislation permits a phased achievement of drinking water quality standards by making decisions on temporary deviations from hygienic for the period design, construction, and/or upgrade supply facilities. Objective: To substantiate mechanism coordinating concentrations certain chemicals in implementing measures improvement. Materials and methods: We applied methods sanitary epidemiological expert examination assessment method system analysis to review study current regulations, results laboratory testing centralized cold systems 2011–2019, action plans 83 constituent entities Russian Federation improvement tap quality. Results: established that violation was most often registered aluminum, boron, bromine, iron, silicon, lithium, magnesium, manganese, sodium, chloroform. Hygienic requirements determine necessary technological solutions be implemented at treatment facilities; yet, their implementation requires amount time might cause deterioration it agree with local bodies charge federal surveillance transition eliminating threat public health poor water. Conclusions: The authors propose an algorithm conducting risk decision deviations.

Water is an essential material for all organisms on earth to sustain life, and a satisfactory water supply must be made available to consumers. It is required that drinking water not be contaminated by microbes or chemical substances harmful to human health. Pathogenic bacteria, viruses and protozoa in drinking water cause waterborne infectious diseases. The pollution source, pathogenicity, and...

BACKGROUND Drinking water quality can be deteriorated by microbial and toxic chemicals during transport, storage and handling before using by the consumer. This study was conducted to evaluate the microbial and physicochemical quality of drinking water from bottled water coolers. METHODS A total of 64 water samples, over a 5-month period in 2012-2013, were collected from free standing bottled...

398 Nitrate and nitrite Nitrate (NO 3 ) is found naturally in the environment and is an important plant nutrient. It is present at varying concentrations in all plants and is a part of the nitrogen cycle. Nitrite (NO 2 ) is not usually present in significant concentrations except in a reducing environment, as nitrate is the more stable oxidation state. It can be formed by the microbial reductio...

IARC classified PCP in Group 2B (possibly carcinogenic to humans) on the basis of inadequate evidence of carcinogenicity in humans but sufficient evidence in e xperimental animals. There is suggestive, although inconclusive, evidence of the carcinogenicity of PCP from epidemiological studies of populations exposed to mixtures that include PCP. Conclusive evidence of carcinogenicity has been obt...
